How do children and young people learn to deal with societal challenges such as climate change, social justice and human rights?
The educational organization Djapo believes in the potential of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). We use complex social issues and let children and young people zoom in, zoom out, reflect, engage in dialogue and look ahead. In this way, they strengthen their ability to help shape the world.
Djapo sees the school environment as an important training ground for ESD. That is why we develop teaching materials and coach teachers to use these materials in the classroom. Like to find out more about how we work? Surf to djapo.be
